Philemon Ogbonna’s Brother, Elder Emmanuel Iroanya Laid to Rest

The Remains of Elder Emmanuel Iroanya Asonye have been laid to rest in his country, Umueleleukwu Owaza in the Ukwa West local government Area.

Preaching at the funeral service, the Rev Chris Ogbuagu of the Apostolic Christian Church Mission Rumumasy Portharcourt Rivers state , who preached on the Topic ” Come let us balance the Account, urged Christians to strive to live a convincing life.

The clergyman cited the story of the biblical Hezekiah, who sought to change prophecy over his life, stressing the need for Christians to amend their lives and embrace the life that is inline with Gods commandment

Apostle Ogbuagu maintained that God expects every one of us to live right and blamed the problems we are experiencing in society today on lack of faithfulness.

Speaking a brother to the deceased and Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Philemon Ogbonna described the death of his Elder Brother Elder Emmanuel Iroanya Asonye, whom he described as a God-fearing gentleman, as a big loss to him and family.

Mr Ogbonna pointed out that the deceased will be remembered for his impactful life, which played a role in his life, community as well as those who came across him.

Elder Emmanuel Iroanya Asonye who died at the age of 76 is survived by children and a host of other relatives including the commissioner for Environment Mr Philemon Ogbonna.

Dailytrailnews reports that the funeral service attracted the presence of the commissioner for information Mr. Okey Kanu, Members of the state executive council, members, representing Ukwa West State constituency, the Chairman of Ukwa West Local government Area, among other personalities
