Onuigbo’s SIO Ambassadors Rally Behind Tinubu as President Secures Landslide APC Primary Victory

The Ambassadors of Samuel Ifeanyi Ọnuigbo (SIO), a pro-group loyal to former lawmaker Sam Onuigbo, have declared unwavering support for the re-election bid of President Bola Tinubu following his landslide victory at the APC Presidential Primary Election.

Speaking during the primary election held at Nkata Community Hall in Nkata, the Coordinator of the Ambassadors of SIO, Henry Okezie, said members of the group turned out en masse to actualise the mandate of their principal, Sam Onuigbo, to deliver all 62 wards in Abia Central in support of President Tinubu.

Okezie stated that despite prevailing economic challenges, the Tinubu administration has repositioned the nation’s economy and initiated reforms capable of yielding long-term benefits for Nigerians.

Also speaking with journalists, APC State officer, Uchegbu Chukwuemeka, disclosed that indigenes of Ibere Ward 2, the home ward of Sam Onuigbo, voted massively for President Tinubu despite grievances over the outcome of the Abia Central Senatorial primary.

He noted that Onuigbo, whom he described as a loyal and committed party man, mobilised party faithful extensively and provided the necessary support to ensure active participation of his supporters in the presidential primary election and the president’s re-election push.

President Tinubu emerged victorious in the APC Presidential Primary Election with a landslide outcome and is expected to receive his certificate of return today amid widespread celebration by party supporters across the country.
