Abia PDP Chieftain Charles Ogbonnaya retires from Partisan Politics

A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party PDP in Abia state Chief Charles Ogbonnaya has resigned from partisan politics.


Ogbonnaya, a former Commissioner for Trade and Investment in the state made this known in an exclusive interview with Dailytrailnews stating that he officially announced his retirement from politics at a thanksgiving service at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Ugba-Na- Nkata Umuahia.


Ogbonnaya who maintained that politicians still have a long way to go when it comes to sincerity, has a word of advice for aspiring and present politicians.

The one time Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Abia said he decided to do the figurative hanging of boot after spending 37 years in active politics adding that he is back to his immediate community.
