Ikwuano Mayor Congratulates Sam Onuigbo on Inauguration as GLOBE President
The Executive Mayor of Ikwuano Local Government Area, Dr. Anthony N. Nwaubani, has congratulated former member of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Sam Ifeanyi Onuigbo, on his formal inauguration as President of GLOBE Legislators at the United Kingdom Parliament.
In a congratulatory message, Nwaubani described Onuigbo’s emergence as a significant milestone, noting that it has once again brought Ikwuano and its people to global recognition for a worthy cause.
The mayor said Onuigbo’s inauguration as President of GLOBE Legislators, an international non-partisan and cross-party parliamentary organisation dedicated to advancing governance for sustainable development, is a source of pride for Ikwuano, Abia State and Nigeria.
He commended the former lawmaker for attaining the prestigious global leadership position and expressed confidence that his wealth of experience would further strengthen the organisation’s efforts in promoting sustainable development across the world.
Nwaubani wished Onuigbo a successful tenure and congratulated him on what he described as a well-deserved achievement.
