2023 election: Atiku a unifier, will win the presidential polls – Chief Charles Ogbonnaya

The ABIA state coordinator, Atiku Abubakar Presidential Organisation Chief Charles Ogbonnaya has described the presidential flag bearer of the People’s Democratic Party PDP for the upcoming 2023 general elections as a personification of Nigeria’s unity.

Fielding questions on a radio programme, monitored by Dailytrail News, Chief ogbonnaya highlighted the qualities of Atiku Abubakar as he described the PDP Presidential flag bearer as a unifier.

Ogbonnaya however described as a distraction the recent meetings in London in which Abia Governor Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, Nyesom Wike of Rivers state and Samuel Ortom of Benue state met with party Presidential candidates stressing that discussions from the governor at this point should centre on infrastructural problems bedeviling the state.

He called on the Governor of the state Dr Okezie Ikpeazu to consult with the elders of the party in the state to outline the needs of the zone for further articulation at the national.

Speaking in the same vein, Director media, publicity and strategy of the Atiku Abubarka presidential Organisation Chief Kingsley Megwara kicked against what he calls the entire Southeast putting all their eggs in one basket to avoid what he said was playing out in the current administration where the Igbos are marginalized as a result of perceived non support in the last two elections.
