Former two-term member of the House of Representatives, Sam Onuigbo, has formally submitted his Expression of Interest and Nomination forms to contest for the Abia Central Senatorial seat under the platform of the All Progressives Congress.

Speaking with journalists shortly after submitting the forms, the former lawmaker for Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency expressed confidence in securing the support of the people of Abia Central, stressing that his track record in public service remains his strongest campaign credential.

Onuigbo stated that the people of the district had continued to demonstrate confidence in his leadership because of his performance and commitment to purposeful representation. He noted that he had earned the trust of the people of Abia Central and believed that the electorate would base their decisions on his visible achievements and service record.

He further reaffirmed his dedication to people-oriented representation anchored on his EAR principle — Effectiveness, Accessibility and Responsiveness — while promising to sustain and improve quality service delivery to the people of Abia Central Senatorial District.

The APC aspirant maintained that his years of service and developmental strides would ultimately guide the choice of the electorate in the forthcoming senatorial contest.
