CONNAK Foundation trains, empowers over 400 Youths in ICT, host over 1000 Children to Funfair Paradise

A Non-Governmental Organisation CONNAK Foundation has trained over 430 youths in Information and Communication Technology in her various facilities across Nigeria.

Speaking during the graduation ceremony held in Umuahia Township Stadium, Connak Foundation Chief Executive Officer, Carol Sunday explained that the six months of computer training which culminated into the days’ event will see the graduands go home with start-ups such as brand new laptops and printers.


Meanwhile, Connak Foundation has held her 2-day Children Funfair Paradise with over 1000 participants at the Umuahia Township Stadium.

Speaking with Journalists during the event, the Founder, Ken Ukeagu noted that the Children Funfair Paradise was designed to entertain children in Umuahia and across the state, stressing that everything about the Children’s Paradise party was free.

On her part, the CONNAK Foundation General Manager, Rosemary Etsiame, sought partnerships with organizations and the state government for sustainability.

Also Speaking, the General Manager of Umuahia Capital Development Authority, Kingsley Agomo believed that the current government under Governor Alex Otti has shown readiness for partnerships to realize suchlike programmes designed for children’s growth and development as he commending the founder for the initiative.
