APC Will Do the Right Thing — Don Lulu Urges Calm After Reps Primary Outcome

Frontline House of Representatives aspirant for Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South Federal Constituency under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, Mayor Lucky Obinwa Igbokwe, popularly known as Don Lulu, has called on his supporters to remain calm, peaceful and law-abiding following the outcome of the party’s recently concluded primaries.


In a statement was issued by the Media Directorate of the Ekwerem Ekwe Movement Campaign Organization, Mayor Igbokwe who spoke after the exercise, expressed appreciation to supporters across the constituency for their loyalty, commitment and steadfast support throughout the primary process, describing the show of solidarity as overwhelming and encouraging.


The APC chieftain maintained confidence in the leadership and internal democratic processes of the party, insisting that he still believes strongly in the party’s commitment to fairness, justice and due process.


“We remain loyal members of the APC and we believe the party will do the right thing and return our mandate. I urge all our supporters to remain calm, peaceful and law-abiding as we continue to pursue every legitimate and democratic avenue available to us,” he stated.


Mayor Igbokwe further cautioned supporters against inflammatory comments or actions capable of escalating tensions, stressing that the movement remains committed to peace, unity and democratic ideals.


He also appreciated party stakeholders, community leaders, youths, women and supporters across the constituency who stood firmly with the movement during the primaries, assuring them that their sacrifices and dedication would not be in vain.
