Driving Nigeria’s Automotive Future: NADDC DG Shares Vision on NOA Policy Perspective
The DG of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, recently hosted the DG of the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), Otunba Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin, on Policy Perspective at the Agency’s visual studio in Abuja. The programme, designed to simplify government policies, featured a rich conversation on Nigeria’s automotive future.
Otunba Osanipin outlined the Council’s drive to make Nigeria a hub for vehicle manufacturing and innovation through training centers, the Automotive Design and Innovation Institute, and partnerships like CREDICORP to boost financial inclusion and support local engine production. He emphasised efforts to make locally assembled vehicles more affordable, reduce import dependence, and expand opportunities for young Nigerians.
Anchored by Tolu Meduna and Edith Yasin, the NADDC DG concluded that with sustained innovation and sustainability, Nigeria’s automotive sector is poised to become a major engine of national growth, urging investors and citizens to tap into its emerging opportunities.
