Otti Condemns Murder of Couple in Bende Community, directs Security agencies to Fish Out Culprits

Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has expressed his sadness over the tragic news of the beheading of a couple in Bende Local Government Area of Abia

The victims Mr. Jacob Udo and his wife Mrs. Comfort Udo were murdered and dismembered by yet to be identified assailants.

A statement made available to newsmen by Governor Otti’s Chief Press Secretary Ukoha Njoku Ukoha said the Governor is personally pained by such criminal and dastardly act and has directed the security agencies in the State to thoroughly investigate and bring the culprits to book.

The statement noted that the Governor on behalf of the Government of Abia State commiserates with the family of the victims and assures that the Government is working round the clock to bring the perpetrators of the heinous crime to justice.

It said the State’s Chief Security Officer has also directed government officials to see how the dependants can be assisted in the interim.
