BANA will speak with one voice on March 18 Governorship Election in Abia – Chikwe Udensi

The President Build a New Abia BANA foundation Sir Chikwe Udensi has assured that members of the foundation will come together in choosing a credible governorship candidate to vote for on the 18th of March to govern Abia for the next four years.

Speaking during a meeting he convened wherein he invited all the governorship candidates running on different political party platforms to interact with members of BANA so as to convince the people on why they should be voted for, Udensi said the over 180,000 members will Speak with one voice come March 18.

When it was time for the candidates present to speak, the first person who spoke, the African Democratic Congress ADC Governorship candidate Bishop Sunday Onuoha among other things noted that it was time for the people of Abia to make the right decision in choosing who governs them in the next four years.

Also speaking the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party PDP Okey Ahiwe represented by a former Deputy Speaker of the state House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Uzo Azubuike called on the people not to repeat the mistake he said Nigerians made in 2014/2015 when the sought for change without knowing the kind of change that awaited them.

Speaking also, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC, High Chief Ikechi emenike, called on the people to stick with the guber candidate who has an evidential manifesto so as to enable accountability in governance.

After listening to the candidates, the Convener, Sir Udensi assured that the choice candidate will be let known to the public in a matter of a day.

Dailytrailnews reports that the event saw the convergence of large number of BANA members, candidates of different political parties as well as dignitaries across political party lines.
