The All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial Candidate for Abia South District, Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr, has urged Nigerians, especially Muslim faithful, to imbibe the virtues of sacrifice, love, unity and peaceful coexistence as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.

In a Sallah message signed by his Spokesperson, George Egejuru, and made available to journalists on Wednesday, the lawmaker representing Obingwa-West State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly congratulated Muslims in Abia South, Abia State and across the country on the occasion of the Islamic festival.

Erondu Jnr described Eid-el-Kabir as a sacred period for reflection, compassion and renewed commitment to humanity, stressing the need for Nigerians to pray for peace, security and economic prosperity in the country.

The former Chairman of Obingwa Local Government Area also called on citizens to continue supporting the reform policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, noting that the values of sacrifice, patience and obedience demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim are vital to national growth and unity, particularly at a time the nation faces economic and security challenges.

He expressed confidence that Nigeria would continue to witness progress and stability under President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda through sustained prayers, collective support and patriotism from citizens.

The Uhie-born legislator further encouraged Nigerians to show love and kindness to the less privileged during the celebration, emphasizing that sharing and compassion should remain the hallmark of the season.

Erondu Jnr wished Muslim faithful in Abia State and across Nigeria a peaceful, joyful and memorable Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
