Just in: APGA suspends Senator Abaribe for alleged anti-party activites
The All progressives Grand Alliance APGA Abia state Chapter has suspended the Senator representing Abia South Senatorial Zone at the National Assembly, Senator Enyinaaya Abaribe, for Anti party activities, an action the party said has exposed it to public ridicule.
A statement titled “Immediate and Indefinite Suspension Of An APGA Member in Abia State” signed by APGA’S State secretary Peter Nduka said Pursuant to the resolution reached in the meeting of the State Executive Committee (SEC) of APGA held on the 26″ day of September, 2025 in Umuahia, senator Abaribe has been suspended indefinitely from APGA with immediate effect for Anti party activities, and that his suspension shall stand, pending the hearing and determination of his case by a disciplinary Committee to be set up by the party.
The statement noted that the party has equally notified all relevant institutions, including security agencies and the general public of this development.
