Abia Lawmaker, Erondu Jnr. Felicitates Former First Lady, Nkechi Ikpeazu on Birthday

The Chairman of the House Committee on Public Service in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr., has extended warm felicitations to the former First Lady of Abia State, Deaconess Nkechi Ikpeazu, PhD, on the occasion of her birthday.

In a goodwill message issued through his spokesperson, George Egejuru, and made available to newsmen today, the lawmaker representing Obingwa-West State Constituency described Deaconess Ikpeazu as “a woman of uncommon grace, compassion, and humility whose life of service continues to inspire many within and beyond the state.”

The former Chairman of Obingwa Local Government Area praised her remarkable virtues of discipline, godliness, and unwavering commitment to humanity, noting that her compassion for the needy, honesty, and high moral standards have left enduring imprints in the hearts of Abians.

According to the Uhie-born legislator, the former First Lady remains an epitome of elegance and simplicity an accomplished personality who has remained humble despite her attainments. He further extolled her role as a supportive wife, prayer warrior, mentor, and bridge-builder who has consistently championed the cause of the less privileged.

Erondu Jnr., a former Director of Enyimba FC, also acknowledged her steadfast support and sacrifices, which he said greatly contributed to the successful two-term tenure of her husband, former Governor Okezie Ikpeazu. He noted that behind the achievements of the ex-governor stood “a woman of strength, wisdom, and prayer.”

“Deaconess Nkechi Ikpeazu has demonstrated, both in private and public life, a rare dedication to uplifting others and giving back to society without reservation. Her life is a testimony of love, care, and selfless service,” the lawmaker stated.

On behalf of his family and constituents, Erondu Jnr. prayed for God’s continued blessings upon the celebrant, wishing her long life, good health, and renewed strength to keep making positive impact on lives.
