Udensi tasks Otti’s government on transparency, prudence in projects execution

Interpol Systems Consultant and Security Expert Sir Chikwe Udensi has called for openness and transparency from Governor Alex Otti’s government as it embarks on developmental projects especially in the area of infrastructure vis-à-vis construction and rehabilitation of rural and urban roads.


Speaking during Family Love FM’s flagship programme Open Parliament, monitored by Dailytrailnews, Udensi reacted to recent road constructions ongoing in different parts of the state most recent of which is the flag off of the construction of the Nunya Eluama road in Isikwuato LGA.


The Security Expert, who commended the governor for his strides in road rehabilitation and construction, however called for transparency in projects specification and cost adding that he has time and again advised the present administration on the need for financial transparency and prudence for the sake of sustainability.

He further called for the establishment of a functional Tender Board in Abia to aide government transparency and accountability in projects execution.
