Man, Onoh Chukwuma Richard Commits Suicide in Abia After losing N2.5 million borrowed money to betting

A young man, Mr. Onoh Chukwuma Richard has committed suicide after allegedly borrowing N2.5 million to platy sport betting in Umuahia, in Abia state.

Mr. Richard was said to have dropped a hint of his suicide mission on his Facebook account before taking Sniper and ending his life. He was said to have lost the money to sports betting and got frustrated because of the pressures from lenders.
Friends got wind of his situation after he did a brief live video on Facebook before taking the harmful substance.

His friends then rushed to his apartment and found him unconscious. He was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre in Umuahia where doctors battled to save his life before he died.


A video posted on Facebook by a user, Solomon Ebenezar Nnadi who seems to know the deceased, shows Late Richard in a hospital bed surrounded by doctors and friends with the caption, “This is the situation of Onoh Chukwuma Richard now, let’s pray for him…”

Friends have taken to Facebook to mourn his death.
