Your recognition is both a testament of your sterling qualities and reward for responsible leadership – Onuigbo congratulates Kalu on award of CON by FG

The Member representing the South East on the governing board of the North East Development Commission (NEDC) Rep Sam Onuigbo has congratulated the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representative Rt Hon Benjamin Kalu on the his recent recognition and investiture with the prestigious national honour of Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) by the Federal Government.

Onuigbo in an official statement he personally signed noted that the recognition by non other than the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who “is reputed with a keen eye for excellence, the recognition is both a testament of your sterling qualities and reward for responsible leadership”.

According to the Chairman of Climate Change and Security Committee of the NEDC “the honour is not surprising, but most deserving. because the Good News Bible actually has you in mind when it says in Proverbs 22 29. “Show me someone who does a good job, and | will show you someone who is better than most and worthy of the company of kings.”

He further stated “To a man of immense wisdom, impeccable integrity and towering accomplishments, |, on behalf of myself, wife and children, heartily congratulate you on this historic recognition and pray that it serves as a Spur to more awards and encouragement for greater achievements to the service of our people Again, Congratulations, Your Excellency”.
