Tinubu Steering APC Right, Says Sam Onuigbo as He Celebrates Nwankpa, Ogbonnaya on Emergence as party leaders

Member representing the South-East on the Governing Board of the North East Development Commission (NEDC), Sam Onuigbo, has congratulated key members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on their emergence into strategic party positions.


In a statement, Onuigbo felicitated Donatus Nwankpa on his emergence as the National Welfare Secretary of the APC, describing the development as well-deserved and a reflection of his loyalty, dedication, and years of selfless service to the party.


He noted that Nwankpa’s leadership experience and strong grassroots connection would further strengthen the party’s welfare structure across the country.


The NEDC board member also congratulated Chimamkpam Kenneth Ogbonnaya on his emergence and inauguration as the APC South-East Zonal Youth Leader, expressing confidence in his capacity to mobilize and inspire young people within the party.


Onuigbo urged both leaders to remain steadfast, inclusive, and visionary in their new roles, adding that the party looks forward to their contributions toward unity, growth, and sustained progress.


He further commended the peaceful and transparent conduct of the APC National Congress, describing it as a demonstration of the party’s unity and internal strength. He praised the Congress Organizing Committee and the National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, for their professionalism and commitment to a credible process.


The lawmaker also lauded the Leader of the APC in Abia State, Benjamin Kalu, for his efforts in strengthening party unity and cohesion in the state.


He equally commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for steering the party in the right direction and ensuring peace, stability, and progressive growth within the APC.


Onuigbo concluded by wishing the newly elected party officials success in their new assignments.

Your leadership, experience, and grassroots connection position you strongly to deliver on this important responsibility and further strengthen the welfare structure of the APC nationwide.

I also heartily congratulate Barrister Chimamkpam Kenneth Ogbonnaya on his emergence and inauguration as the APC South-East Zonal Youth Leader. Your emergence reflects the confidence reposed in your capacity to mobilize, inspire, and represent the vibrant youth constituency of our party in the region.
