June 12: Lack of internal democracy in political parties hampers national growth – Don Lulu

An Abian and a politician in the state Mayor Lucky Igbokwe has harped on the lack of internal democracy in the affairs of political parties in Nigeria as working against the development of democracy in the country.

Speaking as a Recognized Personality in Family Love FM’s weeklong event “Heroes of our Democracy”, organized to mark June 12 Democracy Day in Nigeria, Igbokwe who is popularly known as Don Lulu said political parties should allow democracy thrive internally.

The entertainment guru who was also the 1 Runner up in the primary election conducted by the People’s Democratic Party in the state has a word of advice for the Governor of the state Dr Alex Otti.
