Senator Nwaka says attack on Otti’s advance team shocking
A former Abia North Senator in the 3rd Republic Senator Emma Nwaka has expressed shock over the news of the attack of officials of the Abia State Government by gunmen in Imo State.
Recall that the State Government in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ukoha Njoku Ukoha confirmed that its officials were attacked in the early hours of Tuesday, December 2, 2025 by gunmen in Imo State, but no lives were lost.
In a short message made available to Dailytrailnews, Senator Nwaka said he joined all well-meaning Abians to thank God that the attack on the Governor’s advance party near Imo Airport didn’t occasion any loss of life.
He prayed that the re-energized coordinated regional and federal security efforts will in no time put an end to the menace of bandits and other forms of criminality.
