Senator Mao Ohuabunwa, follow better endorse Tinubu for 2027, commend Otti for infrastructural strides in Abia State

The Follow better Organisation held her annual conference on Saturday 7th February 2026 in Arochukwu at the Follow Better international conference Hall Barack Arochukwu.

The conference Which recorded a massive turn up of members of the follow better Organisation from various LGA across Abia State, various coordinators of the structure and Royal fathers began with a praise and worship section followed by opening prayer.

In his opening remark, the organising committee chairman eulogized the follow better Organisation leader, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa for what he described as his outstanding deeds, as various coordinators reaffirmed their support and loyalty to the aspirations of the Senator.

In his speech, the convener, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa stated unequivocally that the conference wasn’t for him to declare his political ambition for 2027 rather, to correct some political anomaly in PDP and the south east. The PDP BOT chairman stated that it is politically unwise to embark on a contest without weighing your chances.

He maintained that it will amount to a political miscalculation to contest the presidency with president Bola Tinubu, because of what he described as the numerous successes recorded by the present administration at the federal level, adding that the south east must position itself strategically by supporting president Tinubu in 2027, to increase her chances at Nigeria’s presidency when it rotates to the south after 2027.

Ohuabunwa also commended Gov. Alex Otti for what he described as his infrastructural strides in Abia, stressing that the evidences are indisputable.

At the end of the conference, the resolutions including the support of President Tinubu in 2027, were adopted by Dr. Okafor Okoroafia and seconded by Ukpai Ukiro a Barrister, and a solicitor of Nigeria.
