Pomp, Pageantry as Erondu Jnr gives glory to God on successes achieved

It was pomp and pageantry as the member representing Obingwa West State constituency in Abia state House of Assembly, Hon.Erondu Uchenna Erondu on Sunday 24th June gave glory to God Almighty for a successful general election and victory at the polls to represent the good people of Obingwa West constituency at the 8th Abia state Assembly.

It was indeed a convergence of who is who across party affiliation in Abia and in Nigeria at large as the occasion saw the presence of Honourable members and party stalwarts from the Labour Party(LP), the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and other political parties, business associates, traditional rulers, the women and youths, all coming together to rejoice and identify with a worthy son of Obingwa Local Government Area in his moment of joy.

Speaking to Newsmen shortly after a thanksgiving service held the United Evangelical Church,Umuaro community in Obingwa LGA of Abia state on the 25 June,2023, said his overwhelming victory at the last State of House of Assembly election will spur him to synergize with colleagues to make laws that will ensure the development of his constituency and Abia state at large .

He deeply expressed appreciation to God and the people of Obingwa West for the opportunity to serve and pledged to work for the well being of his constituents and Abians.

According to him,’ I feel excited and fulfilled. I feel the presence of God and the hand of God in what I am doing.

” I love rendering services to humanity as well as live a life of service and I pray that I continue in that direction.

” When we resume the Lord shall make away and gives us wisdom to make laws that will ensure the development of my constituency and Abia state” he said.

Some guests sighted at the event were, the Gubernatorial candidate of the PDP, Chief Okey Ahaiwe, the immediate past Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Chief John Okiyi Kalu, the immediate past Rector of Abia state Polytechnic, Associate Prof Hagler Okorie, the member representing Obingwa East state constituency, Hon Solomon Akpulonu, Godwin Adiele of Ukwa West state Constituency, the Member representing Isialangwa South State Constituency, Hon Rowland Ceaser and his Isialangwa North counter part, Hon Ugochukwu Iheonunekwu (Ochake), the Labour Party member representing Umuahia Central, Hon Anthony Chinasa (Abiola) the PDP candidate for Umuahia Central state constituency, Pst Steve Ugochukwu, PDP SWC member, Hon Gabriel Okereke Elendu, friends and numerous well wishers, witnessed the occasion.
