Onuigbo sends heartfelt congratulations to Rear Admiral Oji, says new rank well deserved
Member representing the South-East, on the Governing Board of the North East Development Commission Rep. Sam Onuigbo, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Rear Admiral Chinonyerem Emmanuel Oji whom he described as an illustrious son, on his well-deserved promotion to the distinguished rank of Rear Admiral in the Nigerian Navy.
A statement signed by Rep Onuigbo himself, said Rear Admiral Oji, a proud son of Oboro in Ikwuano Local Government Area, Abia State, has once again brought immense pride to the great people of Ikwuano in particular, and Abia State in general, adding that his elevation underscores the power of resilience, discipline, and dedicated service—virtues that define this stellar career.
The former Lawmaker who represented Ikwuano/Umuahia North and south Federal Constituency in the 8th and 9th National Assembly stated that Rear Admiral Oji’s recent decoration, performed by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu alongside the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abbas, is rightly described as “a reflection of years of dedication, hard work, and exemplary service to the nation.
He maintained that Oji’s promotion strengthens the narrative that the people of the Southeast have continued to excel nationally and globally through integrity and dedication, as he encouraged him to continue embodying the finest traditions of the Nigerian Navy.
