Governor Alex Otti To Flag-Off Ohafia To Arochukwu Road (Highway) Wednesday

In his determination to accelerate and develop the state and in fulfillment of his campaign promises to Ndi Abia, the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, will on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, flag off the construction of Ohafia to Arochukwu Road.

The flag-off of the construction of the road was contained in a press release signed by Ukoha Njoku Ukoha, the Chief press secretary to the Abia state Governor, and made available to our reporter in Umuahia on Sunday.

The release said that the road, when reconstructed, will link Arochukwu back to the state and grant easy access to farmers to bring their farm produce to the state markets.

The release stated that the venue of the epoch-making event was to be the Old Soldier Junction, Ebem Ohafia, by 12:00 noon. Promptly requested Abians around the area to troop out in their numbers to witness the event.

It will be recalled that Governor Alex Otti earlier this year flag-off the construction of Umuahia to Ohafia road, this flag-off will link the entire Abia Central and Abia North senatorial zone with a good network of roads for easy evacuation of farm products to the urban areas of the state.
