Federal Government restores 5 delisted courses at MOUAU, as Institution opens for admission

The Federal Government has restored 5 courses hitherto delisted from the Management Science College at the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike.

A statement signed by the the Registra of the University Dr. (Mrs.) Nkeiruka Charity Mbanasor notified the general public of the restoration and full accreditation of the courses in the college of Management Sciences adding that the courses have now achieved full accreditation status of the National Universities Commission (NUC) and listed in JAMB CAPS for admission with effect from 2024/2025 academic session.

NOTICE OF RESTORATION AND FULL ACCREDITATION OF MANAGEMENT SCIENCE PROGRAMMES IN MOUAU AND READINESS FOR ADMISSION OF CANDIDATES IN THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC YEAR

This is to inform the general public, especially candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2025 JAMB Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) that they could choose Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike as their first (1st) choice Institution for the following programmes in the College of Management Sciences (COLMAS):

  1. BSc. Accounting
  2. BSc. Banking and Finance
  3. BSc. Business Administration
  4. BSc. Economics
  5. BSc. Marketing
  6. BSc. Entrepreneurial Studies
  7. BSc. Industrial Relations and Personnel Management

For the records, these programmes (1 – 5) were delisted from the University and JAMB in 2019, but has now been restored by the Federal Government, achieved full accreditation status of the National Universities Commission (NUC) and listed in JAMB CAPS for admission with effect from 2024/2025 academic session.

Eligible and interested candidates are, therefore, by this notice, advised to visit the JAMB Portal and change their 1st choice Institution to Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, and choose any of the courses above. Thereafter, candidates should visit the University’s website (www.mouau.edu.ng) to register and commence the screening process for admission.
