Easter Celebration: Onuigbo Seeks Unity, Peace, and Prosperity for Nigeria

Member representing the South East on the board of the North East Development Commision (NEDC) Rep. Sir Sam Onuigbo, has called on Nigerians to embrace sacrifice, unity and selfless service as central values of the Easter season.

In his Easter message titled “HE IS RISEN!”, Onuigbo declared the triumph of Christ over life’s struggles, urging citizens to draw strength from the resurrection.

“He is risen indeed above every challenge, every affliction, and every burden we may face,” he said.

The former Lawmaker for Ikwuano Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives reminded Christians of the significance of Easter, describing it as a moment to reflect on the sacrifice of Christ and its meaning for everyday life.

“As we celebrate Easter, we are reminded of the ultimate sacrifice of Christ for our redemption. Let this sacrifice not be lost on us, rather let it inspire us to live selflessly and make meaningful contributions for the greater good of our communities,” Onuigbo stated.

The former federal lawmaker further prayed for national healing and progress, linking the message of Easter to the current realities facing the country.

“May His redemptive grace bring healing to the sick, unity to our people, prosperity to our land, and peace to our homes across Abia State and Nigeria at large,” he added.

He concluded his message with goodwill to Nigerians, urging them to hold on to hope and faith during challenging times.
