Do Good Bake Industries Abiriba set to storm Abia with healthy, nutritious loaves

“You’re what you eat,” so says an age long idiom, and residents of Abiriba in Abia State, and indeed the entire state now have more reason to eat right with the commissioning of Do Good Bakery Industries, a subsidiary of Do Good Project International, a newly built, state-of-the-art bakery designed to produce healthy bread fit for human consumption.

The modern bakery, strategically located in Abiriba, Ohafia Local Government Area, owned by a US-based Philanthropist/Entrepreneur Mrs Onyinyechi Glory Ibe (Nee Urum Ukaegbu) is prepping to kick start full operations in the beginning of the year 2026 and is expected to significantly improve food quality, nutrition, and local economic development within the community and most importantly, capture the dietary needs of the masses at a subsidized price.

Equipped with advanced baking technology, including automated mixers, hygienic proofing chambers, and high-efficiency ovens, the facility is built to meet modern food safety and health standards. The management says these innovations ensure consistent quality, proper nutrient retention, and reduced contamination risks during production.

Speaking to Dailytrailnews crew upon visit to the facility, the Operational Manager Mr Jasper Ukaegbu explained that the bakery was established to address growing concerns about nutrition and food safety. According to him, the focus is on producing wholesome bread made from carefully selected ingredients, suitable for families, schools, and the general public thereby touching lives.

Beyond healthy food production, the bakery is expected to create employment opportunities for youths and skilled workers in Abiriba and neighboring communities, contributing to local economic growth.
