Charles Ogbonnaya congratulates Ben Kalu on “historic” Presidential assent to Southeast Development Commission bill, says Ndigbo are grateful to Tinubu
An Elder Statesman in Abia Chief Charles Ogbonnaya has congratulated the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representative Rt Hon Benjamin Kalu over the historic signing of the Southeast Development Commission bill into law by President Bola Tinubu describing it as a landmark legislation that will unlock new opportunities for the development and economic transformation of the Southeast region of Nigeria.
Ogbonnaya in a statement he personally signed also thanked President Bola Tinubu for signing the bill into law stressing that the Commission will greatly be of immense benefit not only to the Southeast region but will have ripple effect on other regions of the country.
He also solicited for the unconditional release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from the detention as this will further cement a new era of inclusive growth for the Southeast and engender regional equity across our dear nation.
