August Meeting: Women, agents for National Development- Onuigbo

Member representing the good people of Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Consistency in the green chamber of the national Assembly, Hon. Sam Onuigbo has felicitated with women in Nigeria describing them as nation builders and agents for societal and national development.

Speaking at the 28th Annual Obuohia Obi-Ibere Women August Meeting In Obi-Ibere Ikwuano Local government council, Onuigbo represented by his Chief liaison Officer Reverend Abraham Osondu saluted what he called the giant strides of the President- General of the women wing, Pastor Princess Onuigbo for a job well done.

The Rep Member congratulated the executives of Obuohia Obi-Ibere Development Union, Women’s Wing on their re-election as he applauded the efforts of the Obuohia sons and daughters especially those in the Diaspora for teaming up to embark on developmental projects in the community.

The Federal Lawmaker further informed of his decision to represent his people at the Senate come 2023 as he reeled out projects accomplished so far the Obuohia people to include, the rebuilding and upgrading of the local health facility, the cottage Hospital, market stalls, borehole amongst others.

In her remarks, Pastor Princess Onuigbo on behalf of the women applauded her husband for his immense support to the group since 2000 as she expressed confidence in the ability of the judiciary to carry out justice on the matter before it concerning the rightful candidate of the All Progressive Congress for Abia Central Senatorial Zone.

Rep. Onuigbo supported the women with a cash gift who in turn said a special prayer for the federal lawmaker.

The event witnessed some social activities ranging from welcome songs, football game, Match-Past, News Casting, fashion parade, amongst other things.
