Abia PDP Chair Amah tasks stakeholders on strengthening party unity, calls for genuine forgiveness
In line with his campaign promise to deepen constant party engagement and ensure that Abia PDP maintains a strong presence across all wards and Local Government Areas in the Abia, the State PDP Chairman, Elder Abraham Amah met today, 12th January, 2024 with select PDP stakeholders from Isialangwa North at the country home of the LG Chairman, Chief G. O. C Nnaji.
During the meeting, Elder Amah emphasized the importance of genuine forgiveness and reconciliation among party members.
In a statement made available to newsmen by the State Publicity Secretary of the PDP in Abia Eric Ikwuagwu, Amah urged Isialangwa North stakeholders not be demoralized by the loss of the 2023 Governorship election; noting that there are valuable lessons to be learned from the experience and assured them that there is always a silver lining in every dark cloud.
The State Chairman called on the stakeholders to join him in his effort to take real party leadership to the grassroots, pledging to promote transparency and internal democracy in all party affairs moving forward.
The stakeholders present at the meeting commended Elder Amah for his leadership and expressed their unwavering support for his vision and mission to turn around the fortunes of PDP in Abia State.
Notable stakeholders who accompanied the state party to the meeting were, the State party secretary, Chief Peter Nwaokonko and the admin Secretary, Hon. Chukwudi Ezebuiro.
