Abia born philanthropist rolls out massive Scholarship Scheme for medical students of Ohafia origin

In celebration of the birthday of the esteemed president and founder of Ojah Family Foundation, Dr Okwun Ojah (Onwa of Ohafia and Ogbankpu of Ohafia), the Foundation is proud to announce the launch of a N5m education scholarship program for students studying Medicine and Surgery in Nigerian Universities.

The scholarship is designed to support and empower the next generation of medical professionals, aligning with the Foundation’s mission to promote access to quality education and improve healthcare outcomes in Ohafia communities.

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

✓Must have gained admission into a recognized Nigerian University to study medicine and surgery
✓ must provide two academic references
✓ must be an Ohafia indigene

Application opens 13th May 2024 and closes 13th July 2024

Please note, a selection committee will review applications and shortlist candidates for interviews.
Successful candidates will be announced and awarded the scholarship.
